Strawberries

Last Sunday, we picked four gallons of strawberries. Wednesday, we picked three and a half gallons. Today (Friday) I get home from work and there are three gallons of strawberries sitting on the counter. The first batch I made into jam. The second batch we sent half to Grandma's and I stemmed and froze the rest. Tonight I just looked at the pails and thought, "Those are your strawberries, not mine". An interesting discussion ensued about "your strawberries" vs. "our strawberries". It was a friendly discussion, but the farmer is now taking another gallon over to Grandma. I am strawberried out.

At the quilt shop, I helped take down a display area to make room for new items. It has gotten to the point where more is not better. It may look organized, but it is still too much. I am not the owner, so I can't make the policy. I can only wish for more space and big sales. Sigh.

We are Twins fans during the summer. I like sitting on the couch doing the sudoku and watching baseball out of the corner of my eye. It may not be earth-shattering excitement, but it is comfortable, and restful.  Have a good weekend!
