I am on the couch wrapped up in my flannel Bunny blanket. I'm cold. It snowed in Dik. on Saturday. There is something wrong about snow in June. We need some sun and warm days to kick-start the corn. I spent the morning at the shop and the afternoon split between home and clinic. I find the quilting more fun than the cooking and cleaning. I like the designs in the fabric and how smooth it feels under my fingers. The colors make me smile. Even when I have to backtrack and fix mistakes, it is worth it.

I put out a new line of Christmas fabric that was made in Japan. It looks contemporary and funky, but the trees are cute. (Figgy Pudding).So much fabric, so little time. 

As you all gather to remember Grandma, I will be thinking of you. She was a lovely , kind person. I loved her laugh and her gentle spirit and her faith. One could not ask for a better mother-in-law. I h0pe I can be the same kind of person  to your spouses.

Have to go to a Dr's meeting. Bah humbug!!     Marmee
