Still Here

We are still here in the snowy North. It is actually above freezing today. Big chunks of snow and ice are finally slipping off the roof of the house. So satisfying to hear it dripping. I think its fun to breaks the chunks away from the gutters and create a snow cascade. Lance is not so easily entertained.

We go to Fargo this weekend to visit Rhonda and Dave. Time for a road trip. I have started doing some of the customer service email for the Quilt Shop. It amazes me what people will put in an email they would not say face to face. I also volunteered to make a lap size quilt to be given as a wedding present. My first commissioned project for a non-family member.

Work is steady. There is a growing influx of people with the oil boom north of Dickinson. If it spreads south, we should have a bump in our population as well. Good for business, but less quilting time for me. There is a new bakery and coffee shop next door to the quilt shop. Hooray!
