This has been a slow , rough spring so far. The farmer had issue after issue with farm equipment. Last week, we took a trip to Regina, Canada, to get parts for the drill (planter for wheat). When we drove back home through the Badlands, I took the picture of buffalo from our car window. You know you are in North Dakota when the livestock look like a John Wayne western with cowboys and Indians.

This tree is in our backyard. It is a sign that spring is coming. The weather last month was unusually warm. Now it is damp and cool. Last night was Prom, so of course it rained. I have transplanted about two thirds of Mom's iris. I hope they do well and continue to multiply. I especially love the ones she used to call "Grandmother' s Big Blue" ones. They came from her mother-in-law, Blanche.
We are cheering on the Twins. Tucker thinks he should get to go outside but it is windy and cold.
I think of each of you often.
